The Rust Rib Counter Bench puts seats at counter height along a wall, so guests sit at eye level with people at the high-tops and the room feels full even at half capacity. The back has ten narrow vertical channels in a warm rust-orange vinyl; the seat is one firm cushion on a black steel frame.
A round footrest bar runs between the front legs. At counter height it is not optional: without it, guests' feet hang and they leave sooner.
Construction. Square-tube steel frame, powder coated black, with slotted seat apron and adjustable glides; plywood seat deck and back board; HR foam with contract vinyl; channels stitched and individually filled.
Cleaning. Open legs make the floor underneath easy to mop. The footrest is steel, so shoe scuffs wipe off.
Replacement cost. Seat and back are separate upholstered parts bolted to the frame.
Where it works. Along walls facing 36 in counter-height tables, at window counters, and in food halls where high seating keeps sightlines to vendor fronts.
Options. Seat at 24 in or 26 in, or 30 in for bar-height tables; vinyl color; frame color; length. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
