Seats per square foot
01

Seats per square foot

Most fast casual rooms lose seats to dead corners, oversized booth backs and fixed table sizes. Our space-saving booths attack each one: a 4.7 in (12 cm) shared spine on back-to-back booths, a 45-degree corner seat, wall-hung flip tables, and continuous banquettes where tables slide to match party size. We mark up your plan and show the seat count before you buy.

Cleaning minutes, not just looks
02

Cleaning minutes, not just looks

In quick service, every table is wiped dozens of times a day. We design for that: crumb gaps between seat and back, no buttons on seats, bleach-cleanable contract vinyl where you need it, zip-off covers, raised or recessed bases for mopping, and cantilever tables with no legs in the aisle. Fewer edges to clean means faster turns.

Replace a cover, not a booth
03

Replace a cover, not a booth

Replacement cost is the metric that decides a seating program over several years. Our booths use removable seat and back cushions, replaceable end panels and solid-wood or guarded ends where carts and strollers hit. Store a few spare cushions and a torn seat is fixed before the lunch rush, not after a reorder.

04How we work
  1. 1

    Send the plan

Share your floor plan, target seat count, brand colors and service model (counter order, kiosk, table service). Multi-unit operators can send a prototype plan plus site variations.

  2. 2

    Layout markup

We mark up the plan with booth runs, chair and stool positions and seat counts, flag aisle and accessible-seating issues we can see, and suggest where space-saving pieces add seats.

  3. 3

    Shop drawings and finishes

Each booth run, chair and counter piece is drawn with dimensions, construction and finishes. You approve vinyl, frame and base colors from samples; a pre-production sample is available on request.

  4. 4

    Production and QC

We build in our Lecong production base, upholster, and check every piece against the drawing. You receive production photos and a packing list labelled by location before shipping.

  5. 5

    Ship and install

Export-packed, sea freight on FOB, CIF or DDP terms. Booth runs ship in labelled sections matching the plan, so your installer can place and fix them quickly on site.

07FAQ
Who is QSR Seat?

QSR Seat is a line by EASEN Commercial Furniture, focused on fast casual, quick-service and food hall seating. We design and make booths, chairs and counter seating in our own production base in Lecong, Foshan, China, and ship direct to operators, franchisees, developers and dealers in the US and Canada.

How many square feet per seat should a fast casual restaurant plan?

A common planning range for the dining area of a fast casual or quick-service restaurant is about 11-14 sq ft (1.0-1.3 m²) per seat, including tables and aisles but excluding kitchen, queue and restrooms. Booth-heavy and counter-seat layouts can come in tighter. Your legal occupant load is set by the local building and fire code, so confirm with your designer or code official.

Are booths or loose chairs better for fast casual?

Most successful fast casual rooms use both. Booths seat more guests per linear foot of wall, feel more comfortable and are easier to keep tidy; loose tables and chairs flex for groups and provide the accessible seating you need. A typical mix places booths along walls and windows, loose two- and four-tops in the center, and some counter seats on window lines.

How much accessible seating do I need?

Under the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, at least 5% of seating spaces at dining surfaces must be accessible: surfaces 28-34 in (71-86 cm) high with knee clearance at least 27 in (69 cm) high, on an accessible route, and dispersed across the seating types and areas you offer. In Canada, accessibility requirements come from provincial building codes. Confirm the requirements for your project with your architect or local official.

What is the best upholstery for QSR booths?

Contract vinyl is the usual choice: it wipes clean, tolerates frequent sanitizing when the mill's guide allows, and is available in brand colors. Ask for high abrasion ratings (100,000+ double rubs is common for contract vinyl), a published cleaning guide, and good resistance to cracking. Avoid buttons and deep tufting on seats.

Can you match our brand colors across multiple locations?

Yes. We match vinyl, frame and base colors to your brand standard, keep the approved specification on file, and build later orders to the same drawings. Because dye lots vary, we recommend approving a strike-off or sample for each new production batch of a critical brand color.
