Small rooms suffer most from heavy furniture. The Slim-7 keeps its back panel to 2.75 in (7 cm) total thickness, against a more typical 5-6 in (12-15 cm), sets the seat front back by 1.2 in (3 cm), and lifts the seat box on a 4.7 in (12 cm) shadow-gap base so the floor reads through underneath. A slim welt and a thin metal top strip give definition without bulk.
What it saves. Each run saves a few inches of depth along the wall, and in a small room the bigger gain is visual: the space looks more open, which matters in kiosks, small mall units and street-front cafes.
Construction. Plywood and hardwood frame with a thin rigid back panel, high-resilience foam on the seat, contract vinyl or fabric. Shadow-gap base in a dark finish keeps scuffs out of sight.
Where it works. Small fast casual units, cafes, kiosks with seating, and narrow street-front shops.
