This banquette is the soft side of a two-top line. The back is a run of tall vertical channels in an olive textured fabric; the seat is a smooth olive leather-look vinyl, so the part that takes spills is the part that wipes clean. A dark natural wood plinth grounds it.
In the photo it faces a pair of light wood chairs across a pedestal table, a layout that gives four covers per table pair along a wall with no aisle needed behind the banquette.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frame; channels individually filled with HR foam; contract-grade textured fabric back; vinyl seat on a plywood deck; solid wood or veneered plinth with PU lacquer.
Cleaning. Wipe the seat daily; the fabric back takes a performance treatment and vacuuming. Specify vinyl on both if the brief is fastest turn.
Replacement cost. Seat and back are separate units, and long runs are built in sections.
Where it works. Fast casual and bistro-style counters with table service, upscale cafes, and hotel grab-and-go rooms that need to feel like a restaurant.
Options. Fabric or vinyl back, colors, plinth finish, length, back height. Foam and fabric specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
