The Open-Leg Walnut Bench is a booth that behaves like a piece of furniture: a padded seat and upright back in light grey, held in a walnut frame with four tapered legs and wood wings at each end. It is lighter in look and weight than a plinth booth, so it can be moved for cleaning or re-planning without tools.
Construction. Solid hardwood frame and legs in walnut-tone stain with PU lacquer; seat on a plywood deck with high-resilience foam; back cushion upholstered and fixed between the wood side wings.
Durability. The wood wings protect the ends of the back from bumps, and the seat front sits on the frame rail rather than being the first thing feet hit.
Cleaning. The raised legs leave clear space under the seat, so staff can mop straight underneath. Specify a contract vinyl in grey for the fastest wipe-down, or a performance fabric for a softer feel.
Replacement cost. Seat and back are separate upholstered parts that can be re-covered or swapped on their own.
Where it works. Fast casual rooms that change layout seasonally, cafe window walls, small-format stores where a full booth plinth would feel heavy, and staff dining areas.
Options. Cover and color, stain, length (two- or three-seat), back height. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
