The Chevron Two-Tone Booth uses stitching to give a plain booth a signature. The mustard back is channel-stitched in a V pattern that points down to the center of the seat, and the seat is a contrasting navy. Light oak end panels and a slim oak top rail frame the upholstery and take the knocks.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frame; back panel in HR foam with chevron channels stitched and filled; seat cushion on a plywood deck; contract vinyl; oak veneer end panels and solid oak top rail with PU lacquer; recessed black plinth.
Durability. Oak on the ends and top means the upholstery is set back from the places that get bumped. The two colors split the wear: if the seat fades or tears first, it is re-covered alone.
Cleaning. Vinyl throughout; the plinth is recessed behind the seat line.
Replacement cost. Seat, back and each oak panel are separate parts.
Where it works. Brand-forward fast casual, diners with a mid-century look, and cafes that want booths to be recognizable on social media.
Options. Any two vinyl colors, chevron or vertical channels, wood tone, length, single or double-sided. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
