The Weave-Back Steel Bench swaps an upholstered back for a woven panel: a dark brown basket weave stretched inside a slim black frame. It looks warmer than vinyl, breathes better in hot rooms, and has no cushion to tear along the top.
The seat is a single beige cushion on a black steel base with a slotted apron and square legs.
Construction. Powder-coated steel frame and legs with floor glides; back panel in synthetic weave on an aluminium or steel sub-frame; seat cushion in HR foam with a removable cover on a ventilated deck.
Cleaning. The open legs leave the floor clear. The synthetic weave rinses or wipes clean, and the seat cover zips off for laundering or replacement.
Replacement cost. The woven back is a framed panel that bolts in, so a damaged weave is one part.
Where it works. Fast casual and cafe concepts with a natural-materials look, beach and resort food outlets, and patios when specified in exterior-grade weave and fabric.
Options. Weave color, cushion fabric, length, frame color, exterior-grade build. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
