Not every fast casual seat should be a perch. The Deep-Seat Drum Chair is for the corner of the room where guests linger over a coffee or wait for a pickup order: a wide, thick seat cushion in slate-blue vinyl with a stitched top edge, and a curved walnut-tone plywood back bolted to a black steel frame.
Construction. Powder-coated steel frame with cross bracing; molded plywood back in walnut-tone veneer, fixed to the frame with visible bolts; seat in high-resilience foam on a solid base, wrapped in contract vinyl.
Cleaning. Vinyl wipes down quickly with standard sanitizer. The drum seat has no gap or crease on top, so there is nowhere for crumbs to hide.
Replacement cost. The back panel and seat are separate parts on one frame: a chipped back or a torn seat can be replaced without scrapping the chair.
Where it works. Lounge corners in fast casual stores, coffee and bakery concepts, pickup waiting zones and food hall edges. It sits lower than a standard dining chair, so pair it with low tables or use it as waiting seating rather than at 30 in (76 cm) dining tables.
Options. Vinyl color, back veneer tone, frame color, glides. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
