The Saddle Wrap is a sling chair: instead of padded cushions, a single length of heavy tan upholstery runs from the top of the back down into the seat, wrapped and stitched over a black frame. The seat edge is top-stitched, and a separate band wraps the top of the back.
Construction. Black-finished frame with shaped back uprights and four legs; sling in leather or a heavy contract vinyl, fixed to the frame; thin padding at the seat; felt or nylon glides.
Cleaning. A smooth leather or vinyl surface wipes clean in seconds, and with no thick cushion there is no foam to soak up spills.
Replacement cost. The sling is the wear part. It can be removed and replaced as a cover, which is cheaper than re-upholstering a padded chair.
Where it works. Fast casual concepts that want a more grown-up dining room: bowl and grill concepts, burger bars with table service, wine-and-pizza fast casual. The slim profile keeps the chair visually light, which helps in smaller rooms.
Options. Sling material and color (tan shown), stitching color, frame finish, glides.
Note. A sling seat is firmer than a foam seat. For formats with longer dwell times, consider adding a padded seat insert.
