A canteen-style set with a lighter, more retail feel. Each chair is a bright chrome steel tube frame carrying a curved plywood back punched with a grid of round holes and a padded black seat. The tables are square, with a light oak-look top on four chrome legs fixed by flat corner brackets, so two tables butt together cleanly into a four-top or a six-top run.
Construction. Chairs: chrome-plated steel tube, welded frame, molded plywood back in a natural lacquer, seat pad in high-resilience foam with contract vinyl, plastic floor glides. Tables: high-pressure laminate or veneer top with a rounded edge, chrome square-tube legs on bolt-on brackets.
Cleaning. Chrome, laminate and vinyl all take a sanitizer wipe. The perforations keep the back light and give staff a handhold when they reset the room.
Replacement cost. The back panel and seat pad are screwed to the frame and are separate spare parts. Table legs unbolt, so a damaged leg is a single part, not a new table.
Where it works. Coffee bars, sandwich shops, poke and salad counters, and food hall vendors who want a bright, mid-century look that survives heavy traffic.
Options. Black or colored seat vinyl, back finish, powder coat instead of chrome, table size and height. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
