A standard booth with a little more character: two rows of buttons across the back give a classic diner look without the deep tufting that traps dirt. The buttons are set shallow, so a cloth passes over them in one stroke. The seat stays plain, because the seat is where the spills land.
The color shown is a mid brown vinyl that hides scuffs and wear marks better than black.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frame; back pad in high-resilience foam with covered buttons anchored through a plywood board; plain seat on a plywood deck; contract vinyl; recessed black laminate plinth.
Cleaning. Shallow buttons and flat seat, both in vinyl. The recessed plinth sits back from the seat front so mops don't touch the upholstery.
Replacement cost. Back and seat are separate units. Buttons are fixed through the board, not just stitched to the cover, so they don't pull out after a year of guests leaning back.
Where it works. Diners, family restaurants, breakfast chains and burger concepts with a retro brief.
Options. Vinyl color, button pattern, length, back height, single or double-sided. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
